Matkahuolto´s delivery to the door at the agreed time, the service will be renewed on September 1, 2026.
The new, more straightforward Home Delivery service will be delivered on weekdays from 8 am to 6 pm throughout the country, and deliveries will be up to a day faster than before.
In the renewed Home Delivery service, the recipient can choose a suitable delivery day (usually the next 5 business days) once the shipment has arrived at the departure terminal.The selection of the delivery day replaces the previous delivery time window.
If the delivery day selection is not made during that day, the shipment will be delivered to the recipient on the next available business day.The delivery time will be specified to 1–4 hours on the day of delivery.
The recipient does not need to be present, but the package will be left in a safe place.A photo will be taken of the package drop-off location as a delivery receipt.
If the drop-off is unsuccessful, the package will be taken to a pickup point for pickup.
Contact Delivery is available as an additional service, in which the shipment will be handed over to the recipient or another person met at the address.Contact Delivery can be purchased in the Packages app.
The recipient can transfer the shipment to a pickup point for collection from the time the EDI message is created until the delivery of the shipment to that recipient has begun.
