Hanart raw cotton. Unprimed 100% cotton (Cotton Duck). Fabric is sturdy 340g/m2, width 183cm, lively surface. Tight plain weave: like traditional canvas, but woven much more tightly than regular cotton canvas – resulting in a stiff, shape-retaining and wear-resistant surface. The strength of the structure creates a very even, dense and strong fabric that is easy to work with. Prime with e.g. Gesso before painting.
